Subscription Terms - valid from September 21, 2022


These subscription terms apply only if you have entered into a subscription for one or more products from Capalus. The subscription terms supplement the general terms and conditions described above in point 1. In the event of any discrepancy between the general terms and conditions and the subscription terms, the subscription terms shall prevail.


Changes to Subscription Terms


Capalus has the right to change these subscription terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced with a notice period of at least one month before they take effect. Insignificant changes and changes to your benefit may be implemented without notice. You can view the current version of the Capalus subscription terms here on matas.dk at any time. If you contact Capalus customer service, we will be happy to send you the applicable subscription terms by email.

Capalus Membership


To create a subscription for products at Matas, you must be a Capalus member. Through your Capalus membership, you also gain access to self-service for your subscription relationship.

The Subscription Relationship


When you subscribe to one or more products, you will see on your order confirmation or voucher that the product(s) have been created as a subscription. When you subscribe to a product, you choose the frequency with which you wish to receive the product(s). Capalus then sends you the products continuously at the chosen frequency until the subscription is canceled or changed. You can change or cancel your subscription yourself under "My Subscriptions" in your Capalus profile, or Capalus customer service can assist you. When you start a subscription at Matas, you enter into no binding commitment. You can cancel at any time with a notice period of 48 hours before the next delivery. Capalus will regularly send you emails about your subscription, your subscription deliveries, and payment. You are responsible for keeping your email address updated in your Capalus profile. To create a subscription, you must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse business with you without providing reasons.

Subscription Delivery


Regardless of the form or address you choose, if you have several products in a subscription, they will be delivered using the same delivery method and to the same delivery address. For the first delivery, you can choose which shipping method you wish to use. Thereafter, Capalus reserves the right to change the delivery method for subsequent subscription deliveries, but always to your chosen address. You can change the delivery method (e.g., from home delivery to a parcel locker) or the address at any time under "My Subscriptions" in your Capalus profile.
If you have two or more subscriptions whose future deliveries are scheduled close to each other, Capalus reserves the right to combine these into a single delivery.


Subscription Payment


To create one or more products in a subscription, payment by credit card is required. If you have several products in a subscription, you use the same payment card for all products. You can change your payment card at any time under "My Payment Card" in your Capalus profile. When you create one or more products in a subscription, you accept that Capalus automatically and continuously deducts money from the payment card linked to the subscription. The money is deducted each time Capalus sends you the subscription product(s). General cardholder rules, including liability rules agreed upon with your card issuer, also apply when using your payment card for subscription purchases at Capalus. However, you only need to enter your payment details when first signing up as a subscriber with Capalus. If you wish to start further subscriptions thereafter, we will use the payment card you used and saved during the initial registration.
Your payment and card details are stored with a PCI-certified partner (Payment Card Industry - Data Security Standard) used by Matas. Only the PCI-certified business partner—and not Capalus—has access to your card details. The processing of your card data is therefore exclusively a matter between you and the PCI-certified partner, even if it occurs via your Club Matas profile. Data is stored by the PCI-certified partner in a secure environment that meets international security standards.


Non-Payment


You are responsible for updating your payment information if your payment card has been blocked or has expired. If we are unable to deduct money from your card—whether due to incorrect card details, insufficient funds, or another error—you will receive a series of reminder notices via email.
